DOHA (Qatar): The Amir Cup Shooting & Archery Championships will get underway at the Lusail Shooting Complex here on Thursday.
The competition, which will feature men, women and junior athletes, will continue until November 28 with the archery event will be held on Friday and Saturday.
“All arrangements have been made to ensure the successful conduct of the tournament,” said Majid Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Secretary General, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the tournament.
He added that the Qatari Shooting and Archery Association will follow all precautionary and followed measures for the safety of all including athletes and fans.
The competitions will witness the presence of an elite group of young men and women,” he added.
“Our shooters are always striving to be among the best in the world. The last competition organized during this year was the Qatar Open which has had many successes,” said Mohamed Ahmed Taher, Executive Director and Director of the Tournament.
