DOHA: The quarterfinal matches of 50th Amir Cup will be held on March 5 and 6, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced yesterday.
Defending champions Al Sadd will open the last eight fixture with a match against Al Ahli at 4:50pm on March 5 at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
That will be followed by last year’s runner-up Al Rayyan taking on Al Wakrah at 7:45 pm at the same venue.
On Sunday, March 6, Al Sailiya and Al Duhail clash at 4:50pm at the Grand Hamad Stadium, followed by Qatar SC and Al Gharafa at 7:45 pm.
QFA also confirmed that both the semi-finals will be held on March 14.
