DOHA: Defending champions Qatar Sports Club had an easy 3-0 win over Al Wakra 3-0 in their Group A opening match at the 2021-2022 Amir Cup Table Tennis at the QTTA Training Center here on Tuesday.
A total of nine clubs are divided into two groups. The other teams in Group A are Al Arabi, Al Ahli while Group B has Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, Al Gharafa, Al Khor, Al Shamal.
Al Arabi also notched up a comfortable 3-0 win over Al Ahli.
In Group B, Al Sadd beat Al Shamal 3-1 while Al Khor overcame Al Gharafa with the same margin.
The semifinals will be held on April 15 followed by the final on April 17.
