Doha : Al Rayyan SC will take on Al Shahaniya SC on Friday evening at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Round 18 of the Qatar Stars League for the 2025–2026 season.
Al Rayyan currently sit fourth in the standings with 27 points, while Al Shahaniya are in 12th and last place with 14 points.
Both teams are targeting victory to improve their positions in the league. Al Rayyan aim to strengthen their place in the top four and close the gap on Al Shamal SC and Al Gharafa SC, who occupy second and third place respectively and are six points ahead.
Meanwhile, Al Shahaniya are looking to keep their hopes alive of avoiding relegation, as they seek valuable points to move away from the danger zone and maintain their place in the top flight.
