Doha: Qatar’s national artistic gymnastics delegation departed Doha this morning for the Philippines to compete in the 2025 FIG Junior Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.
The competition will be held from 20 to 24 November in Pasay City, Greater Manila.
The delegation is headed by Ali Al Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation and First Vice President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
The team also includes international judge Abeer Al Buainain, coach Mohammed Al Dulaimi, administrator Samira Saeed, and national team gymnast Lujain Atiya, who will represent Qatar in the competition.
Al-Hitmi stressed that taking part in this world-class event offers a valuable opportunity for the Qatari gymnast to compete alongside elite global and Olympic athletes, gaining experience that will support her technical growth and strengthen her ability to contend in future championships.
He added that the federation remains committed to nurturing Qatari talent and enhancing their skills through continuous participation in international tournaments.
