The Qatar Basketball League for the 2025-2026 sports season resumes its exciting action after a 27-day break caused by the Qatar national basketball team’s participation in two matches against Lebanon in the first window of the Asian Qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA World Cup – Qatar. The pause allowed all clubs to conduct intensive preparations and return to domestic competition with renewed enthusiasm.
The sixth round kicks off with a highly anticipated match at 6:00 PM between Al Gharafa and visiting Al Rayyan, a fixture considered one of the classic rivalries in Qatari basketball that always produces intense and thrilling competition.
Both teams are eager to secure victory and collect the crucial points that will play a decisive role in this season’s league standings.
Later, at 8:00 PM, Al Wakrah will meet Al Khor in a match that represents an important test for the ambitions of both sides.
The two teams are determined to win in order to climb higher in the general league table.
The remaining matches of the sixth round will be played on Saturday, 6 December 2025:
• At 6:00 PM: Al Shamal vs. Qatar SC
• At 8:00 PM: Al Ahli vs. Al Arabi – a clash between two teams striving to maintain strong competition for the top positions in the league.
Meanwhile, Al Sadd has a rest week and will not play in this round.
