The official programme begins with the arrival of participating delegations on Wednesday, followed by practice rounds on November 5 and 6. The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, with competition starting on November 7.
The women’s championship will conclude on November 9, while the men’s competition will finish on November 10, when the closing ceremony and awards presentation will also be held.
QGA President Hamad Abdullah Al Mana said the association was proud to host the Arab championships for the first time and had completed preparations to welcome the participating teams.
He said arrangements had been made to provide suitable conditions for competitors and ensure a tournament that reflected the standing of Arab golf.
Al Mana expressed hope that the championships would feature strong competition and sportsmanship while strengthening ties and cooperation among Arab golf federations.
He added that hosting the event was an important milestone for the association and would give Qatari golfers the opportunity to compete on home soil, while supporting the development of the sport and wider Arab sporting cooperation.
