New Delhi: India’s Men’s Selection Committee has announced the squads for the upcoming white-ball home series against the West Indies.
India ODI Squad
Shubman Gill (C), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (VC), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Auqib Nabi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Naman Dhir.
India T20I Squad
Shreyas Iyer (C), Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Ishan Kishan (WK), Sanju Samson (WK), Tilak Varma (VC), Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav.
Varun Chakaravarthy Ruled Out
Spinner Varun Chakaravarthy has been ruled out of the upcoming Japan T20I and the Asian Games due to a side strain.
The selection committee has named Vipraj Nigam as his replacement.
Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar Reddy, who was initially included in India’s Asian Games squad, has been withdrawn from the Games squad and will instead feature in the ODI series against the West Indies.
The announcements come as India prepares for a busy white-ball schedule alongside the upcoming Irani Cup.
