DOHA: Qatari shooters continued their winning streak at the 4th GCC Games after securing a gold medal today in the mixed team trap event and a silver medal in the mixed team 10-meter pistol event.
In the mixed team trap event, the Qatari duo of Saeed Abu Sharib and Maitha Al-Binali won the gold medal after finishing first in the final round with a score of 31 targets.
The UAE team came in second in the final round with 29 targets, earning the silver medal, while the Bahraini team took the bronze medal after finishing third with 22 targets.
In the 10-meter air pistol mixed team competition, the Qatari duo of Khalid Al-Shaiba and Duaa Habib won the silver medal after finishing second with a total score of 459.7 points, while the UAE team won the gold medal after finishing first with a total score of 461.0 points, and the Omani team won the bronze medal after finishing third with a total score of 397.7 points.
