DOHA : Action continued at Round 12 of the Qatar Equestrian Tour Longines Hathab, with riders delivering impressive performances in the ninth edition of the national series.
Organised by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, the competition featured multiple classes at the federation’s main arena.
The day began with the Future Riders class (70cm), where Alia Ahmed Al Khater claimed top honours aboard Fahein with a time of 22.86 seconds. Hessa Ali Al Jaber finished second on Violet, while Al Reem Hamza Al Kuwari placed third riding Jani.
In the Open class (110cm), Khalid Al Hadi secured first place on Miss Chili with a time of 21.66 seconds, ahead of Hazza Mubarak Al Hajri and Mohammed Al Talhan.
The junior category saw Sultan Jassim Al Suwaidi take top spot, followed by Shuraida Nasser Al Kaabi and Ali Omar Al Ansari.
The highlight Gold class (140cm) was won by Hamad Nasser Al Qadi riding Happy Tina in 30.68 seconds. Fares Saad Al Qahtani finished second, while Nasser Al Ghazali came third.
In the team standings, Al Shaqab Team secured first place, followed by Team Wathnan and Team Al Fardan.
Round 12 will conclude on Saturday with the Diamond class (150cm), along with Bronze class (120cm) events and additional Future Riders competitions.
