PARIS : Paris Saint-Germain secured a dramatic 5-4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele each scored twice, while Joao Neves added another to give the hosts a slender advantage heading into the return leg.
For Bayern, Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot, with further goals from Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz keeping the tie finely balanced.
The match was a high-intensity spectacle, featuring rapid transitions and attacking football throughout. Five goals were scored in a pulsating first half, which ended 3-2 in favour of PSG after they recovered from an early deficit.
Despite holding a narrow lead, PSG will need to remain cautious ahead of the second leg in Germany next week, with Bayern requiring at least a two-goal victory to advance to the final.
In the other semi-final, Atletico Madrid will host Arsenal FC.
