DOHA: The third edition of Electronic Qatar Stars League (E-QSL) will begin on Monday.
The tournament will run until April 22 at Mall of Qatar, with 12 teams (2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League clubs) competing divided into two groups.
Group A includes Al Rayyan, Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Shamal, and Al Gharafa, while Group B features Al Sadd, Al Sailiya, Al Wakrah, Al Shahania, Umm Salal, and Al Ahli. The opening day will host Group A matches, followed by Group B fixtures on Day 2, with the knockout stages taking place on the final day.
The competition will follow a one-on-one format, with the top four teams from each group progressing to the quarterfinals, then semifinals, and ultimately the final. Matches will be played on EA Sports FC 26, developed by EA Sports.
Teams and players will not only compete for the championship title but also for a coveted spot in the qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2026. (QSL)
