DOHA: The final competitions of the FEI Regional Group VII Finals concluded on Saturday at Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, wrapping up four days of high-level equestrian action.
The event featured over 100 riders from across the region competing in the Children, Juniors, and Young Riders categories during the 2025–2026 season, with a total prize pool of €318,000.
The day began with a local junior class at a height of 120cm. Qatari rider Khalid Nasser Al Khater secured first place with a time of 35.12 seconds aboard Dansing Queen.
Fellow Qatari Mohammed Faisal Al Marri finished second in 37.95 seconds on Duke G, while Ahmed Ali Al Jaber claimed third with 36.61 seconds on Rayan.
Winners were crowned by Zaid Abu Zaid, President of the Syrian Arab Equestrian Federation.
In the Children’s Individual Final, Emirati rider Hassan Majid Al Nuaimi took the title with a time of 49.64 seconds on Grease. He was followed by compatriot Khalid Ahmed Al Muhairi in 50.7 seconds on Feline, while Qatar’s Mohammed Hamza Al Kuwari placed third in 53.94 seconds on Ghalit.
The awards were presented by Sultan Mohammed Al Yahyai and Sheikh Talal bin Khalid Al Thani.
In the Junior Individual Final, Emirati rider Saleh Mufrej Al Karbi claimed first place with 44.62 seconds on Espresso. Mohammed Saeed Al Ghurair secured second (46.62 seconds on Hazel de Luxe), while Saudi rider Abdulhadi Al Qahtani finished third (47.3 seconds on Well C). The winners were honored by Sultan Al Yahyai and Khalid Abdullah Al Hetmi, Deputy CEO of Al Shaqab.
