DOHA : The Qatar Stars League has announced that the Qatar Cup 2026 will be rescheduled and included in the 2026–2027 season calendar.
In a statement on Thursday, the league said the decision was taken in coordination with relevant stakeholders after reviewing the remaining fixtures of the 2025–2026 season, which has been affected by several unscheduled breaks.
The QSL added that the schedule has also been impacted by the participation of Qatari clubs in international competitions, as well as preparations involving the national team ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
As a result, the Qatar Cup 2026 will now form part of next season’s calendar, allowing for better scheduling and alignment with domestic and international commitments.
