DOHA: Qatari referees continue their notable presence in training and development programs organized by the Asian Football Confederation, as part of their commitment to enhancing technical and refereeing standards and strengthening their presence on the continental stage.
Qatari referee Mohammed Ahmed Al Sharif participated in the third intermediate module of the AFC Referees Academy (sixth batch), held from April 6 to 10. He underwent an intensive training program that included both theoretical and practical aspects aimed at developing his refereeing skills in line with the latest approved standards.
In the same context, referee Abdulrahman Al Mulla is taking part in the fourth preliminary module of the AFC Referees Academy (seventh batch), which is being held from April 13 to 17, as part of the pathway for preparing and qualifying referees at the continental level.
These participations come in the framework of a strategic plan to develop Qatari referees and support their presence in various Asian competitions, reflecting the advanced position that Qatar’s refereeing system has achieved.
