Doha : Qatar national beach volleyball team have finalized their preparations for the 25th Asian Tour, set to take place in Thailand from Sunday until April 15.
Qatar will field two teams in the tournament, with the first pairing featuring Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, while the second team includes Mohamed Ehab and Moussa Al Khair. The dual participation aims to strengthen Qatar’s competitiveness at the continental level.
Following the Asian Tour, the team will remain in Thailand for a training camp from April 16 to 19 as part of their build-up to the Asian Beach Games, scheduled to be held in Sanya from April 22 to 30.
Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari, a board member of the Qatar Volleyball Association, said the participation aligns with efforts to elevate the team’s performance and enhance readiness for international competitions, helping to boost Qatar’s standing on the continental and global stage.
