DOHA : Al Shamal Sports Club and Umm Salal Sports Club are aiming for vital points when they meet in round 20 of the Qatar Stars League on Saturday.
Al Shamal coach David Prats described the fixture as a tough test, highlighting Umm Salal’s strong recent form and the challenges of late-season matches as teams push to finish strongly.
He said his side is determined to end the campaign on a positive note.
Umm Salal manager Ruben Albes stressed the importance of the match in his team’s fight to avoid relegation, calling it one of three decisive fixtures remaining this season.
Albes said securing all three points is the priority, regardless of performance, and praised his players’ fighting spirit while urging balance on the pitch to deliver a strong display.
