LONDON: Egypt forward Mohamed Salah could be set for a move to Saudi Arabia, Major League Soccer or one of Europe’s top clubs after confirming he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, British media reported.
According to The Independent, the Saudi Pro League remains the most likely destination, with Al-Ittihad leading interest after previously making an offer for Salah in 2023.
The report added that Inter Miami could also emerge as a strong option, potentially pairing Salah with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the MLS club, which has become a major draw for high-profile players.
Salah, who has spent nine seasons at Liverpool, is understood to still have ambitions to compete at the highest level in Europe, with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid both linked with a move.
Italian side Inter Milan and Turkish club Galatasaray have also reportedly expressed interest in the 31-year-old, who captains the Egypt national team.
Salah has been one of Liverpool’s most influential players since joining in 2017, and his departure is expected to attract significant attention in the upcoming transfer window.
