DOHA: Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins has stated that his team’s objective in tomorrow’s match against Al Ahli, part of the 19th round of the Doha Stars League, is victory.
Martins said the upcoming match will be difficult because Al Ahli is fighting to avoid relegation, and it comes after Al Gharafa’s 2-0 loss to Qatar SC in the previous round.
The Portuguese coach emphasized that Al Gharafa is looking to bounce back strongly, especially since they still have many goals to fight for. He added that there is no room for surrender and they will compete for every title.
For his part, Al Gharafa player Amr Serag said that preparations for the Al Ahli match have been characterized by seriousness and high focus.
He stressed that tomorrow’s match is very important for them as it comes at a crucial stage of the league and will not be easy. They need a win to continue competing for the title and to bring joy to their fans.
