DOHA : Lusail International Circuit on Sunday unveiled the show car for the 2026 Formula One Qatar Grand Prix, marking the start of early bird ticket sales for the milestone fifth year of Formula One racing at the venue.
The race, officially titled the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026, will take place from Nov. 27-29, 2026, with organisers offering a 10% discount across all three-day ticket categories for early bookings.

The unveiling comes as the FIA Formula One World Championship prepares to enter a new technical era in 2026, featuring sweeping regulation changes aimed at improving racing quality and sustainability.
Next-generation cars have been designed to be shorter, lighter and more agile, with advanced active aerodynamics systems allowing drivers to adjust aerodynamic configurations to improve overtaking and performance.
The new regulations will also introduce a revised power unit formula with increased electrical power deployment and the use of 100% sustainable fuels, underscoring Formula One’s environmental ambitions.
Lusail’s 2026 show car livery reflects the sport’s transformation, combining the new car’s proportions and active aero concept with a flowing gradient design from nose to rear wing. Dynamic speed lines and Qatar Grand Prix branding elements are incorporated to capture the atmosphere of night racing at the circuit.
The 2026 edition will mark five years since Formula One first raced at Lusail in 2021. Since joining the calendar, the Qatar Grand Prix has established itself as a signature night event known for its high-speed layout, flowing corners and close wheel-to-wheel action.
Organisers said the 2026 race weekend would blend innovation and speed with Qatar’s cultural identity as the championship begins its new era.
