DOHA: The 15th round of the 2025/26 Doha Bank Stars League featured several standout individual displays, with Al Sadd forward Akram Afif headlining the team of the week after scoring a hat-trick.
The best XI of the round, selected by local sports outlet Doha Stadium, included Al Sailiya goalkeeper Fahad Younes, who impressed in his side’s 1-0 victory over Al Gharafa.
The defensive line comprised Bassam Al-Rawi of Al Duhail, Naim Al-Aidouni of Umm Salal, Hamdi Fathi of Al Wakrah and Abdullah Mahmoud of Al Sailiya.
Midfield honours went to Omid Brahimi of Al Shahaniya, Abdulaziz Hatem of Al Rayyan and Claudinho of Al Sadd.
In attack, Youssef Sanana of Al Sailiya, Joao Pedro of Qatar SC and Afif of Al Sadd were selected, with Afif’s three-goal haul proving decisive in his team’s round 15 success.
