DOHA : Subsidiaries of the Aspire Zone Foundation on Tuesday signed a two-year strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) to strengthen cooperation in developing Qatar’s sports sector, the two organisations said.
The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the Qatar Web Summit, aims to support the growth of the sports industry, develop sports complexes and business accelerators, and attract local and international companies operating in the sector, contributing to business expansion and increased investment.
The MoU was signed by Ali Abdullah Al Mutawa, chief executive officer of business and project development at Aspire Zone Foundation, and Mansour Rashid Al Khater, chief executive officer of the QFC. Senior officials from both sides attended the signing ceremony.
