DOHA: Qatar SC secured a 3-1 victory over Al Ahli on Saturday evening at Al Thumama Stadium in the 14th round of the 2025–26 Doha Bank Football League.
The win lifted Qatar SC to 20 points and seventh place in the standings, while Al Ahli remained ninth on 15 points after the defeat.
Mohammed Ayash opened the scoring in the 17th minute, heading home after following up a rebound from goalkeeper Marwan Sharif. Brazilian forward Joao Pedro then struck twice, finding the net early in the second half in the 48th minute before adding his second goal of the night in the 72nd.
Al Ahli reduced the deficit through Moroccan defender Ahmed Fatouhi, who scored his side’s only goal, but Qatar SC comfortably saw out the match to claim all three points.
