DOHA: Al Sailiya club has announced on Wednesday that midfielder Mohamed Taabouni has suffered a tear in the outer ligament of his knee.
In a statement, the club said the player will undergo surgery in the coming period, which will rule him out of action for an estimated three to four months. His absence is a significant blow for Al Sailiya in the next phase of the season, as the team looks to improve its position in the league table.
