DOHA (Qatar): Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich Munich will reach Qatari capital Doha this week for their winter training camp at the Aspire Academy.
This will be Bayern’s 10th time that Bayern have chosen Doha as their destination for the winter training camp.
Bayern, coached by Hans-Dieter Flick has a tough challenge facing them in the second half of the season as they are currently third in Bundesliga, four points behind leaders RB Leipzig.
Bayern will be hoping that their week-long camp that starts on January 4 will help them start their preparations for the rest of the season.
Bayern, who are pitted against English side Chelsea in the Champions League last 16 in February, will play their first match in the second half of the campaign against Hertha BSC in Berlin on 19 January 2020.
Bayern women’s team will travel also to Qatar on January 20 and spend a week at the Aspire training camp.
