DOHA: Al Ahli head coach Younes Ali emphasized the difficulty of his team’s upcoming match against Al-Sadd.
Ali said that Al Sadd is a strong side and the reigning champions of the competition for the past two seasons.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the thirteenth round clash of the Doha Bank Stars League, Younes Ali said that although Al-Sadd are strong contenders for the league title this season.
“Al-Ahli will be fully prepared for the encounter,” he said.
He noted that the team has worked hard in training and is aiming to deliver a better performance than in their previous match against Al-Shamal.
The Al-Ahli coach highlighted the team’s steady progress, explaining that performances are improving from match to match. He added that the club is in a building phase, working to establish a strong and competitive squad capable of being among the standout teams this season and in the future.
Younes Ali also pointed out that the match against Al-Sadd will be a tough challenge, given their recent good form and consistency in league results. Despite dealing with some absences, he stressed that Al-Ahli will approach the game with full determination in pursuit of a positive result.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahli captain Jassim Mohammed echoed his coach’s sentiments, acknowledging the difficulty of the match against Al-Sadd. However, he affirmed that the players are determined to give their maximum effort on the pitch in their quest to secure victory.
