Doha: Group C of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 promises a compelling contest, featuring former champions Pakistan and England alongside hosts Zimbabwe and Scotland.
Pakistan arrive as one of the form teams of the tournament after a dominant run in the U19 Asia Cup, capped by a resounding 191-run victory over India in the final.
Batting star Sameer Minhas was the standout performer, scoring a remarkable 172 in the final and finishing the competition with 471 runs.
Two-time champions at this level, Pakistan have consistently impressed in recent editions, reaching three semi-finals in the last four tournaments, and will be strong favourites to progress.
England, one of only five ever-present teams in U19 World Cup history, will look to challenge Pakistan for group supremacy. Their sole title came in 1998, but they were runners-up as recently as 2022.
