DOHA: Al Arabi edged Al Wakrah 1-0 in their Doha Bank Stars League clash on Wednesday evening at Saud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium, as the 12th round of the 2025–2026 season continued.
The decisive moment came in the 39th minute when Spanish striker Rodri Sanchez struck the only goal of the match. The forward fired a powerful effort from inside the penalty area, sending the ball into the right side of the net to secure Al Arabi’s sixth victory of the campaign.
The win saw Al Arabi move up to 20 points, placing them fifth in the standings, level on points with fourth-placed Al Sadd but behind on goal difference. Al Wakrah, meanwhile, remain on 16 points and sit seventh in the table after the narrow defeat.
