Doha: Al Sadd SC will be fighting to keep their hopes alive when they host Shabab Al Ahli in the AFC Champions League Elite 2025/26 on Tuesday.
Qatar’s Al Sadd ended Matchday Five 11th in the standings with just two points while UAE’s Shabab Al Ahli will confirm their Round of 16 spot with victory.
Roberto Mancini’s first continental match in charge of Al Sadd ended in 3-1 defeat to UAE’s Al Wahda FC and the Italian tactician will be expecting a more resilient performance from his charges.
The sides will be meeting for the first time since 2014 but Al Sadd are not only winless on the continental stage this season but have lost their last three matches.
