Doha: CR Flamengo have been crowned champions of the FIFA Derby of the Americas Qatar 2025 after securing a 2–1 win over Mexico’s Cruz Azul at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.
The Brazilian side delivered a commanding performance, marking an exciting start to the final three fixtures of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025.
Prior to the match, fans were treated to a variety of cultural and entertainment activities at the Fan Zone, located inside the venue.
This is the first of the final three matches of the prestigious club competition that Qatar is hosting during the rest days of the ongoing FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.
CR Flamengo will now face Egypt’s Pyramids FC at the FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2025 on 13 December, 8pm, at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
Meanwhile, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Final Qatar 2025 will take place on 17 December 2025, 8pm, featuring European giants Paris Saint-Germain and FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2025 winner.
