Doha: The Qatar Billiards Federation has successfully concluded the Training Exchange Program with the South Korean Billiards Federation.
Hosted at the federation’s headquarters, the program featured intensive joint training sessions, friendly competitions in billiards and snooker, and specialized workshops aimed at developing coaching and technical skills on both sides.
The closing day highlighted exciting doubles matches between Qatari Al-Annabi players and their South Korean counterparts, followed by an award ceremony honoring the standout performers.
A key moment of the event was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, marking a new chapter in sporting collaboration between the two federations.
The ceremony concluded with an official dinner celebrating the strengthened partnership.
The Korean delegation—comprising players, coaches, the federation president, and the executive director—expressed deep appreciation for Qatar’s warm hospitality and praised the high standard of organization and facilities.
They also lauded the Qatar Billiards Federation’s commitment to nurturing youth and developing national teams.
Mubarak Al-Khayarin, Executive Director of the Qatar Billiards Federation, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in enhancing international cooperation.
He noted that exchanging expertise with leading Asian federations contributes significantly to the growth, professionalism, and future success of Qatar’s billiards and snooker athletes.
