DOHA: Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) President and Lusail International Circuit Chairman, Abdulrahman Al Mannai, praised the record-breaking spectator turnout at the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, the 23rd and penultimate round of the Formula 1 World Championship.
Speaking on the sidelines of the final day, Al Mannai expressed his pride in the outstanding success of the event, which drew an impressive 162,972 motorsport fans, marking one of the highest attendances in the Grand Prix’s history.
He noted that the enthusiasm and sheer number of spectators who attended the race weekend played a key role in elevating the event, attracting fans from around the world to celebrate the pinnacle of global motorsport and underscoring Qatar’s growing capability to host major international events.
Al Mannai also voiced his delight at the praise received by both the QMMF and Lusail International Circuit from guests and participants, who commended Qatar’s professionalism in staging world-class championships. He extended his gratitude to all entities that collaborated to deliver the event at such an exceptional level.
