BUCHAREST (Romania) – Amsterdam Rabobank rose to the top, defeating Liman 21 – 12 to win the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Bucharest 2025 on November 9.
The Dutch went unbeaten all the way, getting the job done against numerous contenders, including sides like Chongming and Skyliners, who will compete in the World Tour Manama Final in under two weeks. They last defeated Miami in a 16 – 15 thriller to clinch their spot into the final.
They would face Liman, who looked just as dominant, going through numerous close battles, including their semi-final bout against Riffa that ended 21 – 20, capped off by Mr. Clutch himself, Andreja Milutinovic.
In the final, Amsterdam Rabobank got the scores ticking early, Worthy de Jong drilling from deep and drawing fouls. Both teams relied on their defense in the initial third of the game as Liman would struggle to get their shot going.
The Serbians would rely on crafty work in the paint for their scoring, along with the occasional twos, but the Dutch went to Bryan Alberts, who caught fire, launching two after two to hand Amsterdam a 14 – 8 advantage just over halfway into the action.
