Doha: Badr Al-Darwish, President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, has been elected as a member of the Solidarity Committee of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) during the General Assembly held in Hong Kong.
The Qatar Equestrian Federation took part in the FEI General Assembly, with the delegation including Sheikh Ahmed bin Nuh Al Thani, Secretary-General of the Federation.
The meeting witnessed wide participation from member national federations.
Badr Al-Darwish expressed his pride in the confidence placed in him by the General Assembly, emphasizing that his election reflects the prestigious status of the Qatar Equestrian Federation both regionally and internationally.
He added that this achievement strengthens Qatar’s role in advancing equestrian sport to new horizons in Asia — especially as Qatar continues to host major world championships that hold great significance for the FEI.
