MADRID: Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has expressed his determination to make a strong comeback for Brazil as the Seleção prepare for friendlies against South Korea and Japan. The 24-year-old was left out of Brazil’s last two squads, admitting that the period had been “difficult” both mentally and professionally.
Rodrygo has struggled for game time at Real Madrid this season, starting only two matches as competition for attacking places has intensified. His limited minutes have contributed to his recent absence from the national team setup, with his last appearance coming in March during a 4-1 defeat to Argentina.
Despite the setback, Rodrygo remains hopeful of regaining form and earning his place back in Brazil’s plans, saying he is ready to “work harder than ever” to prove his worth on the international stage.
