DOHA: The Junior NBA League in Qatar concluded with the participation of 450 young men and women from various schools and specializations from all over the country who represented all 30 NBA teams.
The participants learn the rules and basics of the game during the league.
In addition to the league, a series of discussion sessions and workshops were held, which continued over a period of weeks, as part of the “Her Time to Play” program of the American Basketball League.
The league provides opportunities for girls and women to play basketball and practice specialized professions in the field of coaching and sports leadership.
The competition also encourages them to be confident when facing challenges and learning the rules of heroism, including teamwork, leadership and appreciation.
