KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Mohun Bagan by 2-0 in super six round to complete a hat-trick of Calcutta Football League victory on Friday.
This is the second time in the history that Mohammedan SC have achieve the hat trick of League titles, last time they won in the year 1934,1935 and 1936 respectively.
The Match witness an early goal in the 17th minute by Remsanga with a brilliant header. Minutes before ending the 1st half, the goal cushion is doubled by Mohammedan’s and CFL’s star striker David Lalhansanga who dribble and nets Mohun Bagan’s defence and makes it 2-0. David increases his goal tally and finish scoring 21 goals in the Calcutta Premier Division 2023 season.
