DOHA: 2022-2023 Qatar Men’s Handball League will start tomorrow with as many as five matches will be played in on the opening day.
Defending champions Al Duhail will face Al Khor, Al Ahly will be up against record 14-time winners Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa meet Al Arabi, while Qatar Sports Club and Al Shamal will take on Al Sadd and Al Wakra respectively.
The league will be held this season in two phaes, with the first set to conclude on April 6.
Duhail won for the fourth time in its history last season while Wakra and Rayyan finished second and third last season.
Al Sadd has won the league nine times while Al Ahly, El Jaish won four occasions.
Al Arabi and Qatar SC has bagged the title twice each followed by Al Gharafa and Al Wakra (once each).
