KOLKATA (India): Russia’s Andrey Alekseyevich Chernyshov will coach Mohammedan Sporting for the upcoming season of I-League.
Chernyshov will replace Shankarlal Chakraborty for the position of head coach.
Chernyshov has worked with clubs such as FC Spartak Moscow, FC Dinamo Tbilisi, FC Vitebsk and FK Spartak Subotica.
He has also managed the Russian U21 team and been the assistant manager to the Russian senior national team.
In his playing days, he’s plied his trades as a centre-half with clubs such as Dynamo Moscow, Royal Antwerp FC, BSV Bad Bleiberg and PAOK Thessaloniki.
