DOHA (Qatar): Jassim Adel Al Sayegh rode Joly’s Arno to victory in the first round of Future Knights (Show Jumping, height 70-85cm) on the opening day of the HH Amir’s Sword Festival at Al Rayyan Park on Thursday evening.
Hadi Mansour Al Shahwani came second with Kashmir while Hadi Nasser Al Hajri finished third with Ellis
Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz Khalid Al Bukhari claimed the top spot in the second level of Future Knights (Dressage, height 85-100 cm).
Al Bukhari rode GI MOLGA to victory. Muhammad Ibrahim Al Hor came second with Hero while Saif Muhammad Al Kaabi finished third with Calva Z.
The competition will witness the first rounds of jumping (junior) at a height of 100-120 cm today (Friday)with intermediate rounds (height of 120-135 cm) and qualifying ones (height 135-145cm) to follow.
The dressage competitions will be on Saturday at 9am with two rounds for the first and second levels while jumping competitions for the open field qualifiers for the grand round “Sword Tour” will also be held.
