DOHA: Al Duhail coach Sabri Lamouchi described the Qatar Cup semis against Al Gharafa as an “important but a tough one”.
“The match is very important against a stubborn opponent in a different competition. We participated in the FIFA Club World Cup and played a match in the league and now we are playing in Qatar Cup,” said Lamouchi.
“We will return to play next Monday against Al Gharafa in the Qatar Stars League, but right now we are excited about tomorrow’s match.”
Duhail had beaten Gharafa 2-1 in QSL on October 25 last year, and Lamouchi would like to see his men repeat the same.
“Before the CWC, we found the required performance and presented matches with distinguished level. We found a great interaction from the players and also the opponent was good in the FIFA event. We had a good match against Ulsan, and now we want to continue with the same performance,” added the Frenchman.
