DOHA (Qatar): The three-match T20I series between Qatar and Nepal has been cancelled, according to information available from Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) sources.

The three-match series was part of the Qatar National Sport Day (QNSD) celebrations, and was to be the first international assignment for newly appointed Nepal coach Dav Whatmore.

The first match was to be played on February 9 while the next two matches were to be played on February 10 and 12
at Asian Town Cricket Stadium.

Qatar and Nepal met in a T20I game during the T20 World Cup Asia Regional finals held in Singapore in July 2019, with Qatar registering their maiden win over their regional heavyweights in the Associate landscape in the region.
